We would like to inform you of an announcement.
[Ministry of Justice] Notice on full implementation of online reservation system for attorney interviews at correctional institutions
In order to improve the inconveniences of online reservations for attorney interviews, the Ministry of Justice has changed the method of receiving attorney interviews at correctional institutions, which currently allows reservations made directly through the online civil service service or applications via email or fax, to be accepted online from Jan. 3, 2022 (Monday). We would like to inform you that we plan to fully implement the service through direct reservation, so please keep this in mind during your work.

– Note –

■ Full implementation of the online reservation system for meetings with lawyers at correctional institutions
○ Effective date: January 3, 2022 (Monday)
○ Changes to the online civil service system
– If you do not know the inmate number, you can enter “0000 (number)” and proceed with the reservation.
○ Reservation method: ‘Ministry of Justice Online Civil Service Service (https://minwon.moj.go.kr/minwon/index.do)’ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​
○ Precautions
– Applications via email or fax from the representative of the existing organization will not be accepted.
– If you are unable to make a reservation, but must meet with your attorney due to urgent circumstances, please contact the relevant correctional institution separately for guidance. (You may have to wait for a long time as the scheduled meeting with the lawyer proceeds)
– (Old) ID card holders, on-the-job trainees, interpreters, etc. may need related documents, so please contact the relevant correctional institution in advance.
– If you have any other questions, please contact the person in charge of the relevant institution or the Correctional Civil Service Call Center (dial 1363 without area code).
