First, Jung-gu expands the scope of coverage of resident safety insurance to protect residents from accidents and disasters. Starting from the new year, ‘death by drowning accident’ and ‘medical expenses for silver zone accidents’ will be added to the coverage items, and the amount covered for emergency room visit treatment expenses for dog bite accidents will increase from 200,000 won to 500,000 won. In addition, in order to alleviate the financial burden on families giving birth, the amount of childbirth support and first meeting vouchers for childbirth costs for women with disabilities will be increased.
The childbirth subsidy will be increased from 700,000 won to 1 million won for the second child, the cost of giving birth for disabled women will be increased from 1 million won to 1.2 million won, and the first meeting voucher amount will be increased from 2 million won to 3 million won for the second child or more.
The target of the support program for infertile couples will also be expanded from couples with incomes below 180% of the existing standard median income to all infertile couples.
Starting from March next year, we will operate the ‘Let’s Play Dog Program’.
