This is a simple online change method that can be done on a PC. Number changes are available from Monday to Saturday: 10:00 to 20:00 (but not available on public holidays and Sundays). Number change fees are free for mobile phone numbers, but a fee of 1,650 won per number is charged for home phone numbers.
※ Smartphone users can change their number through the PC version. The MyKT app can be used after switching to the PC version, but the mobile version is generally not supported.
1. Go to the KT Roaming Home site using KT Roaming Home PC Chrome or Whale. If you have accessed the website, please log in.
2. Click My Menu at the top of My > Change Subscription Information > Change Number, then select the Subscription/Use > Change Subscription Information > Change Number menu in that order.
3. Click the number change service application button. The KT mobile phone number change service allows you to change the number of not only mobile phones but also home phones. Click the number change button at the top.
4. Identity verification To protect personal information, an identity verification process is carried out and ARS authentication is performed, so you can use it by bringing a mobile phone in your name.
5. KT mobile phone number change completed. Once you have verified your identity, you must select the desired number. The desired number can be selected from the 1st to 2nd middle digits and the last 4 digits. You can search for the desired number up to 50 times a day. Once completed, click the number change application button to apply for number and complete.
※ After changing the number, you must turn the mobile phone number off and on. For some 3G mobile phones, if the number setting has not been completed, you must enter *147359*682* into the mobile phone. (For SPH-W2100 /LG-KH1000 /LG-KH1200, enter *147359*682* on your mobile phone)
※ You can change your mobile phone number up to 2 times in 3 months, and number change cancellation is also included.
Cancellation when changing number is possible only on the same day and requires a visit to KT Plaza or KT agency. When visiting a dealership, you must bring your ID and a mobile phone number to change your number.
