In Korea, 1st to 4th grade or 1st to 5th grade are called low-grade examinations, and 6th to 9th grade are called high-grade examinations. Only up to 3rd grade (3rd dan) is possible, and holders of 4th grade → 4th dan certificates must receive conversion compensation training.
