As the economically vulnerable class expands due to deepening income inequality and aging, and health threats intensify due to worsening nutritional intake levels and eating habits, it is part of a supplementary nutritional support policy for the economically vulnerable class to reduce social costs such as medical expenses that will have to be borne in the future. We are in the process of introducing this system.
It is expected that the agricultural food voucher system will provide social value by realizing food justice, such as improving nutrition and health of vulnerable groups and strengthening food accessibility.
Agri-food vouchers work together to strengthen food accessibility and nutritional supplementation support for economically vulnerable groups, build a foundation for sustainable consumption of domestic agricultural and livestock products, and improve the dietary habits of vulnerable groups through linkage with dietary education.
Pilot Project: Households with income less than 50% of the median income (based on address on resident registration) residing in a local government (basic livelihood recipients under the National Basic Livelihood Security Act, second-lowest class)
