According to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence, in July 2023, Tencent’s “Honour of Kings” recorded sales of $220 million on the App Store and Google Play worldwide, ranking first in global mobile game sales. kept. Updates such as the release of two limited-edition skins, the introduction of a new hero, Doria, and summer bonuses not only kept player interest high, but also solidified its position as the top-grossing mobile game. The second place in sales was “PUBG Mobile” with $172 million (including Game for Peace sales). In July 2023, mobile gamers around the world spent approximately $6.56 billion on the App Store and Google Play, virtually unchanged from the same month last year. The United States is the world’s largest mobile game market by revenue, recording sales of $1.9 billion, equivalent to 28.7% of total global sales. The Chinese iOS market ranked second with 19.7%, and the Japanese market ranked third with 16.4%.
