Before adding to Samsung Pay, you must have your ID card added to the PASS app before you can put your driver’s license into Samsung Pay.
After installing and running the PASS application, press [Mobile ID] in the center of the screen, and select and add a resident registration card or driver’s license. This process must be done first before it can be added to Sampe.
To add a driver’s license to Samsung Pay, select the [Menu] button at the bottom right after executing Pay, and press [Mobile ID].
A screen where you can verify your identity by adding your ID card or student ID card appears. Here, click the + button in the upper right corner and touch [Add Driver’s License Verification Service].
After checking the available destinations and contents, press the [Next] button.
If you simply look at the places where you can use the service, you can use it at convenience stores, movie theaters, domestic airlines, passenger boats/fishing boats, etc. However, please note that it may be restricted in non-affiliated places such as some public institutions.
Check the information consent process for service confirmation and go through authentication through the PASS app.
