Young people who want to learn smart farm farming technology regardless of major
– Holders of Korean nationality who are between the ages of 18 and 39 as of January 1 of the project implementation year (born between January 1, 2082 and December 31, 2004 on resident registration)
– Those who can complete the 20-month compulsory education hours can apply even if they are students or employed.

Operation of step-by-step training courses, such as introductory training for youth entrepreneurship in smart farms, educational practice, management practice, etc. (20 months)
– Introductory education (2 months, 180 hours or more): Smart farm agricultural basics (business management, facility management, crop physiology, item cultivation), smart farm related information and communication technology and data analysis training, etc.
* Operation of advanced technology (ICT, IoT, etc.) and data field (AI, big data, etc.) special lecture courses in connection with external specialized educational institutions
– Educational practice (more than 6 months, 480 hours): Experience accumulation and benchmarking through field practice using the nursery center practice greenhouse and smart farm leading farmhouse greenhouse
– Management practice (12 months, 960 hours or more): Management practice greenhouse is provided so that trainees can experience farming management under their own responsibility, and practice training is provided for each cycle of farming
* Some of the contents of education may be adjusted to improve the curriculum.
* Students may be expelled from the school if they violate the student’s obligations (training completion time, attendance rate, assignment submission, etc.)

* However, trainees who wish to engage in management practice after signing a rental contract with the local government during the management practice practice will pay their own expenses such as utility bills and own the crops.
Accommodation and food support during the training period (about 1 year and 8 months, on the day of training)
– The support method is different depending on the educational institution (childcare center)
* It is different for each child care center, such as provision of lodging facilities and meals or provision of practical training expenses (up to KRW 700,000 per month) when child care centers do not provide, so confirmation is required.
Farming technology guidance and consulting support by excellent field experts at home and abroad
Priority given to ‘excellent performers’ to move into smart farms for lease in Smart Farm Innovation Valley (up to 3 years)
Granting young farmers smart farm comprehensive fund loan application qualifications* Giving additional points when selecting young successor farmers Allocating the number of people to select successor farmers (100 people)
* It qualifies for funding application, and depending on the results of loan screening (self-pay, etc.), loans may not be available
