실업급여 신청방법 How to apply for unemployment benefits

Today I am going to post about how to apply for unemployment benefits. First, let’s look at what unemployment recognition means.

What is unemployment recognition?
Recipients must attend the job center every 1 to 4 weeks to report the fact that they have actively re-employed while unemployed, and receive recognition of unemployment in order to receive job search benefits. The period subject to unemployment recognition refers to the period during which a person eligible for job search benefits is recognized by the head of a job security agency as being unemployed in the employment insurance. Usually 14 days, it can be extended or shortened. In other words, you can think of the first recognition of unemployment two weeks after the date of filing the unemployment report.

* How to apply for unemployment benefits online: Register for Worknet job search -> Complete the required training on application for eligibility prior to applying for eligibility (available online or in person) -> Visit the local job center to apply for eligibility

There are two ways to apply for unemployment benefits: in person or online. To apply online, complete Worknet job application registration and eligibility application training online, then visit the job center in your area of residence and apply for recognition of eligibility. Even if you apply online, you must visit the job center at least once for the first time to be eligible for receiving benefits.

Once the loss report has been processed, it is a mandatory requirement to apply for a job at Worknet when applying for unemployment benefits. For online video training, if you do not visit the job center within 14 days of watching, the training you have completed will be lost. Remember that you must visit the job center and apply for eligibility within 14 days of watching the training, as you will have to take the course again. 실업급여 신청방법

On the first day of unemployment recognition, you can visit the job center and submit it or submit it online via the Internet. To submit online, log in to the employment website, click on the Internet Application for Unemployment Recognition on the main screen, and fill out and submit. Internet transmission is possible from 0 am to 17 pm, but it is better to send early in the morning.
