Practice driver’s licenses are not issued by driver’s license academies. It can be issued at the driver’s license department test center in each city.
Living in Cheonan, I went to the Cheonan driver’s license department test center in the Cheonan Soccer Center and got it issued.
(A few years ago, there was no driver’s license test center in Cheonan, so I had to go to the Yesan driver’s license test center to get a practice license.

If you go in and tell the person in charge, ‘I already have a class 2 license and I need a class 1 license, I’m here to get a practice license.’
At this time, you need to prepare, so don’t forget to bring it.
At first, I asked for a driver’s license, but I lost it, so I replaced it with a resident registration card, but he said it was possible.
After filling out the two documents, after paying 4,000 won, a practice driver’s license is issued.
You can practice driving on the road after registering at the driver’s license test center with the issued practice license.
Please note that a learner’s license is valid for one year from the date of issuance.
I had to get a license in a hurry, so I called several Cheonan driver’s license academies before getting a practice license, and it seems that there are more people who want to get a license than I thought. You should think it takes about 3 weeks in total.)
Fortunately, the academy in my hometown was able to make a reservation the very next day, so I made a reservation.
It is safe for those who need to obtain a driver’s license to make a reservation at the driver’s license test center in advance.
Road driving requires a total of 6 hours of practice, but 6 hours of education at a time is not possible.
The academy I reserved said that I needed a license urgently, so they divided the training into 3 hours / 3 hours.
(As an afterword, getting training for 3 hours a day is more tiring and difficult than I thought. I was in a hurry, but I think it would be better to do it 2/2/2 if you have some time.)
