What is housing benefit?
Housing benefit is a system that supports housing costs for low-income people by comprehensively considering income, housing type, and level of housing cost burden.

Support details
Support for rented households
1) Actual rent is paid based on the standard rent by region and household size.
* Rent: The amount paid by a borrower of real estate or a building to the lender in return for the loan.
* Households whose actual rent exceeds 5 times the regional standard rent are paid the minimum payment (KRW 10,000)
* Payment is excluded if there is no rental agreement or if the actual rent is 0 won even if there is

3) If the beneficiary is disabled or elderly, support for convenience facilities
– Disabled persons: Support is provided up to a maximum of 3.8 million won, separate from the standard repair cost amount.
– Senior citizens: Support is provided up to a maximum of 500,000 won, separate from the standard repair cost amount.
– If you are disabled and elderly, duplicate support is not possible. If you are disabled and elderly, additional support for disabled people is applied.
* Repair costs are paid differently depending on the income recognition standard.
① If your income is below the living benefit selection criteria (if your income is below 45% of the median income), 100% of repair costs will be supported.
② 90% of repair costs are supported if the living benefit selection criteria are exceeded or the median income is less than 35%.
③ If your income exceeds 35% of the median income and below 45% of the median income, 80% of repair costs are supported.
* In the case of island areas (excluding the main island of Jeju Island) that are impassable by land, 10% of the above repair costs will be added.
3) Home repairs according to priority within the repair cycle

Offline application: Community center of the eup/myeon/dong address of the housing benefit recipient on the resident registration
