To qualify for the next upper class, you must be a citizen of the Republic of Korea and have a recognized income of less than 50% of the standard median income.
1) Estimated Income: Actual Income – Expenditures by Household Characteristics – Earned Income Deduction
Actual Income: Calculated including monthly salary, business income, rental income, interest income, national pension, unemployment benefit, leave of absence allowance, etc.
Expenditures by household characteristics: allowance for children with disabilities, medical care expenses, rehabilitation expenses, chronic disease treatment expenses
Earned Income Deduction: The daily rate of earned income is deducted according to the total wages
2) Income conversion amount: (property – basic property amount – liabilities) x income conversion rate by property type
If residential property exceeds the limit, the cost is classified as general property.
The amount of recognized income is calculated considering all expenses such as my salary, business income, real estate, and vehicle value. If these expenses fall below 50% of the median income, then they meet the next-highest-income condition. The calculation is quite complicated, but you can simulate it through the welfare site.
