On the 17th, the KakaoTalk function that quite a lot of people had been waiting for was updated. It is the message reservation transmission function. Previously, to use it, it was a method to download and use a separate app, but now it is possible to schedule transmission through an official update. Also, while the bypass method was not possible with iPhone, this new function can only be used on PC and iOS/iPad. 카카오톡 업데이트
This is a function made through Jordi, the talk secretary added with this update, and you can manage schedules, to-dos, and reservation messages. You can use it by pressing the # used in KakaoTalk chat, and to use it, it is essential to update to the latest version. JFactory
After running KakaoTalk, you can check it through Settings – Version information in … (More) on the right, and the easiest way to access is to check for updates in the App Store.
The KakaoTalk message reservation transmission function is available from 9.8.0 or later, and when the update is complete, you can meet Talk Secretary Jordi by touching the # icon.
As mentioned earlier, this feature is currently only available on iPhone and PC, and an Android version will be added in the future. How to use is also simple. If you touch the # on the right, you can use the schedule registration, to-do registration, message reservation, and briefing board functions.
Enter a message, specify the date and time of sending, whether or not to be notified, and the destination to be sent, and then touch Register. Accessibility itself is very good in that it is officially supported without the need to use a separate app.
Messages can be specified up to 1 year, transmission time in 5 minute increments, and Jordi can set a function to send a notification message to the chat window 15 minutes before sending, so it is good to use the appropriate function.
If you want to check the KakaoTalk reservation message, you can select the briefing board, and you can edit the time or notification. Please note, however, that modifications cannot be made 5 minutes before the delivery time. Of course, it is possible to delete the reservation message before transmission, so if it is unnecessary, you can delete it to prevent transmission.
In addition to sending KakaoTalk message reservations, it can also be used as a Todo List function by registering schedules and to-dos through the Talk Calendar registration.
You can register the schedule by selecting the schedule title, date, and time, and you can register the schedule by adding a place, repeat status, notification, and description. The event also supports the ability to invite other attendees. It is perfect when you schedule a trip or a meeting in a group chat room.
And it is possible to edit and add all of these contents on the briefing board, just like the reservation message.
When the set time comes, the set message is sent along with the Jordi icon. As mentioned earlier, if you set a reservation reminder, you can check in advance that it will be sent in 15 minutes.
The PC version is no different.
As with the iPhone or iPad, you need to check whether it is the latest version, and proceed with the update.
In the PC version, you can use the tool by clicking on Jordi’s face located at the bottom left of the chat window. You can use the schedule/to-do/message reservation functions in the same way, and the settings such as entering a message, setting the time, and receiving a reminder are the same.
Note that the reservation function is not available in Open Chat. Please note that the same interface as the previous version appears in the open chat room, and reservations can be sent up to 10. And since the Jordi mark is only displayed to the sender, the other party cannot know whether it is a reserved message.
In this way, I introduced how to use the KakaoTalk message reservation sending function. If you update to the latest version, you can see it right away, and the Android version is also expected to be released soon, so it might be the next update. It is nice to see that KakaoTalk has added a function that has been limitedly available through detour, so let’s use it appropriately.
