As a result, there are cases where you cannot use it elsewhere or learn it, so the country is conducting a lifelong education voucher project.

Lifelong Education Voucher is a welfare service jointly supervised by the Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Lifelong Education, which supports KRW 350,000 per year.

Rather than learning through a set curriculum, it is a lifelong education voucher that allows learners to autonomously engage in and participate in learning activities according to their own learning needs.

■Qualifications for application

It would be nice if everyone applied and won, but there are some tricky qualifications, so let’s take a look.

First of all, as an age limit, you must be an adult over the age of 19, and you must be a basic livelihood recipient, the next upper class, or a household member earning 65% or less of the standard median income.

However, the important point is that in the case of a single-person household (single household), the standard median income is 120% or less. Let’s find out in detail.

As you can see, if I am a single-person household, my income is about 2.05 million won, and my health insurance premium should be less than 66,173 won per month on average.

We will look at this in more detail later in the application process. First of all, it is important to check whether I meet the application qualification criteria in proportion to the number of family members.

If you qualify, it would be advantageous to apply for about 5,000 people to be elected.

I’m a college student, so maybe I can apply? However, if you are receiving a national scholarship from the Korea Student Aid Foundation, you should note that duplicate benefits do not apply.

■How to apply

Application for lifelong learning vouchers can be made online. First, access the Lifelong Education Voucher website (www.lllcard.kr).

When you enter the main screen of the homepage, there is a voucher request at the bottom left. Upon entering, you will need to verify your identity and apply according to your qualifications.

As we have seen before, you can look at your income level and select the target type that corresponds to it.

Regardless of the type, the number of selected candidates is around 5,000, so you should take a good look at it.

After filling out the application form and signing up for the website, you must submit evidence.

There are three types of evidence required for the voucher: a copy of resident registration, a certificate of eligibility for health insurance, and a confirmation of payment, and they must be issued within at least 14 days.

Civil petitions are printed out at 24 hours or the National Health Insurance Service, but you have to scan them to attach files.

After submitting these materials, the application for the Lifelong Education Voucher is complete. If you are selected, you can receive a support fund of 350,000 won each year in the form of a card if you are contacted by individual cell phone, and you can check the details in the account you set up.

Various welfare policies are coming out in various forms, but if you qualify for the application, I think there will be good results if you try it at least once.
