The membership price (annual fee) is KRW 38,500 for Gold Star membership and KRW 80,000 for Executive Gold Star membership. In particular, for both memberships, one additional card can be issued as a family card. The difference between the two cards is that the Executive Gold Star membership is different from the regular Gold Star membership, and 2% of the purchase amount is accumulated as reward points. Earned reward points can be checked by text message every month, and the accumulated points can be used as reward vouchers from December. Reward vouchers can be used within one year of receipt, and the remaining balance will be returned in cash.
Business membership is a membership that can be issued to those who have a business registration certificate. It is divided into general business membership and executive business membership, and the membership price (annual fee) is 33,000 won for general business membership and 80,000 won for executive business membership. For business memberships and executive cards, 2% of the purchase amount is accumulated as reward points. Business membership can be additionally issued as an add-on card for KRW 25,000. (However, even if you have an Executive Business Membership, additionally issued add-on cards do not accumulate reward points.)
1. You can sign up for a membership at Costco on the same day, and you can sign up at the membership desk on the 1st floor of Costco.
· For Gold Star membership, fill out the blue application form, and a resident registration card or driver’s license is required when issuing membership.
· In the case of business membership, you can fill out the red application form, and a certificate of employment is required when issuing it, and one of the following must be submitted as evidence: resident registration card / driver’s license / certified copy.
· In the case of issuing a family card, an additional family member’s identification card and additional family relation certificate or resident registration copy are required.
2. After submitting the application form and documents and taking a picture of your face with the camera in front of the desk, registration is finally completed and a card is issued.
