Previously, you had to pay more than 800 won to earn stars.
However, from January 15, 2020, it has been changed to 1,000 won or more.

2. When ordering more than 2 times, order at least 3 minutes unconditionally.
If you divide your order twice for star accumulation,
After the first order goes in, you have to order after 3 minutes.
If you order one more time within 3 minutes, no points will be awarded.
3. Star accumulation X for gifticon use alone, star accumulation O if you pay an additional 1,000 won while using the gifticon
If you have an Americano Gifticon and order an Americano, you will not receive stars.
Because, as I said in number 1, you have to scrape 1,000 won with your Starbucks card.
Therefore, in order to earn stars, you must order a drink that is 1,000 won more expensive (more than 5,100 won) than Americano (4,100 won).
You have to order a Cafe Mocha (5,100 won) while using the Americano Gifticon (4,100 won) and pay the difference of 1,000 won with your Starbucks card to earn stars.
Alternatively, if you order an Americano (4,100 won) and upgrade to a Venti size (5,100 won), the difference of 1,000 won remains, so you can also receive star points.
4. Gifticon included amount??
This is the part where many people get confused when using gifticons.
If you ordered 2 drinks, it came out 12,000 won.
However, the difference was 2,000 won using the gift coupon.
Then, if you scrape 2,000 won with your Starbucks card, will you earn one star? Or will it be two?
Correct answers earn 2 stars.
Stars are based on the total amount spent with the Starbucks Card, not the amount spent.
Since it’s 12,000 won, you can get 2 stars because it’s over 10,000 won, so you get an extra star.

Any product sold at Starbucks is eligible for points, even if it is not a beverage.
