Starting in May 24, you can get your public transportation fare refunded with K-Pass. In order to reduce the burden of increased public transportation costs, the government decided to implement the K-Pass project two months earlier, from July to May. You may have been feeling a lot of pressure recently due to the increase in public transportation costs, so this is good news. If you want to receive a refund for your transportation expenses, please apply for the K-Pass card as soon as possible.K패스 신청

What is a K-Pass card?
– It started with the purpose of changing people’s lives by drastically reducing the burden of public transportation costs.
– Effective from May 24, we aim to encourage the use of public transportation by alleviating the burden of transportation costs on the common people and young people.
What are the benefits of K Pass?
– This is a system that refunds the amount spent at a certain rate if you regularly use public transportation (city bus, subway) more than 15 times a month.
– The refund rate is 20% for the general public, 30% for young people, and 53% for low-income people.
– This is a project to improve/expand the inconvenience of using the economical transportation card that is currently in effect.
– The existing budget card refunded mileage in proportion to the distance traveled, such as walking or biking, which was inconvenient.
– K Pass has improved this so that you will receive a refund of a certain percentage of the amount spent regardless of whether you move or not.
ex) If you are a person who spends 100,000 won on transportation expenses every month.
– The general public can save 20,000 won, teenagers can save 30,000 won, and low-income people can save 53,000 won.
– There are additional discount benefits from credit card companies, so if you use a new card, the savings will be greater.
