Gangneung Pet-Friendly Pension Recommendation BEST 4
I recommend this article to those who are looking for a pension to go play with their beloved dogs. Gangneung has many pet-friendly pensions, so it is a popular travel destination for pet owners. Below are four hotels with clean facilities and good locations.

This hotel is available for a price in the early to mid-100,000 won range on weekdays and in the mid-to-late 100,000 won range on weekends and holidays. Anmok Beach is right in front, so it is easy to access and you can easily feel the ocean. The pet-friendly room is called Triple Bunker Half, which consists of bunk beds and an ocean view room with the ocean right in front, so it is satisfactory. The sunrise that you can comfortably see from the room is satisfying. Fine Art Travel – Triple – Bunker – Half
There is a 7-Eleven convenience store and a pub called New York Night Market and a bakery cafe in the hotel building, so there are many things to enjoy inside the accommodation. For breakfast, you can use a discount coupon that can be used at the bakery cafe on the first floor, so you can eat brunch at a discount, or you can enjoy sandwiches and coffee.
Fine Art Travel – Exterior
There are dog-specific dishes and poop pads, dog shampoo, and dog deodorizer Dol Dol, so it is convenient. You can check the detailed cost and discount coupons by date at the link below.

Rooms are available for the early 100,000 won range on weekdays and the mid 200,000 won range on weekends. Check-in time is 16:00, check-out time is 11:00, but since there are so many rooms, it is very crowded when checking in and the waiting time is long. Personally, you can shorten the check-in time by calling in advance and taking a number before check-in. This is a 5-star luxury hotel with pet-friendly rooms and well-equipped facilities for dogs inside, so I recommend this hotel. Since the pet-friendly rooms are all gathered together, you don’t have to worry about the people in the next room.
St. John’s Hotel – Pet Room
1. Pet-friendly rooms (ocean view) – double room, twin room, suite 2. Indoor playground – There is a pet-friendly playground on the first floor. 3. Companion cafe – They also sell drinks that dogs can use, such as Mongpuchino and Mong Wine. 4. Companion sky lounge 5. Companion infinity pool – Dog admission fee is 15,000 won, and agility zone, ball pool, and dry room can be used. Dogs cannot go into the pool water, but the jacuzzi that dogs can go into is 70,000 won for rental. 6. Companion breakfast buffet – I think it’s really convenient because there’s a separate space for dogs to stay in the breakfast. Many people give up breakfast because they can’t leave their dogs alone in the room, but this is really good. The rooms are equipped with dog-only amenities such as pee pads, shampoo, towels, and steppers that can climb onto the bed, so you can feel that it’s a room for dogs at once.
St. John’s Hotel – Pet Room
Amenities that can be used for a fee are Hinoki bath 5,000 won (small Hinoki bathtub that dogs can enter), dog dry room 15,000 won, dog dryer 5,000 won, and pet water purifier 5,000 won. Please note that when moving around the hotel, you must use a dog carriage (rental fee 5,000 won per hour / 20,000 won for the whole day) or move in a carrier.
