강원도 고성 가볼만한곳There are many travel spots in Gosung, Gangwon-do. In particular, if you have elementary school children, I recommend experiencing the Unification Observatory together. It is a place you must visit when traveling to Gosung because you can learn about the DMZ, the only remaining divided country on Earth due to the unification of Germany, and learn about the appearance before and after the outbreak of the Korean War in 1950 and the historical significance of the Military Demarcation Line. In particular, the Unification Observatory is located at the northernmost point of the east coast, and you can see Geumgangsan and Haegeumgang just a short distance away. The Demilitarized Zone and the Military Demarcation Line barbed wire, where you can see the reality of a divided country firsthand, leave a slightly bitter aftertaste, but I recommend it as a place to visit when traveling to Gosung with children.
