1. Run the Government 24 site on your computer.
2. Click the search bar.
3. Search for passport expiration date.
4. Click the shortcut to the right of the searched passport expiration date service.
5. Click Login.
6. Click OK on the login page navigation instructions.
7. Select simple authentication or joint authentication.
To check your passport number and passport expiration date on Government 24, you must log in. There is no need to register as a member. You can simply log in using services such as your bank’s joint certificate, KakaoTalk, KB certificate, or PASS. I will try logging in using KakaoTalk authentication.
8. Enter your name, date of birth, and mobile phone number.

It is not possible to check passport number/passport expiration date on the Government 24 site on a smartphone (mobile). The reason is that when you access the Government 24 website on your mobile phone, a notice is displayed stating that you can only use the app, not the site, and you cannot log in. 1. Download and install the Government 24 (formerly Civil Service 24) app on your smartphone.
2. Launch the app and tap Login.
3. Click Simple Authentication or Joint Authentication.

※Caution※ It is said that the Administrative Information Department will notify you by text message 6 months before your passport expiration date, so if you receive the text message, you must renew it without missing it to avoid any problems when traveling abroad.
