유튜브 채널 차단 방법Access the YouTube site on your PC and search for or tap the YouTube channel you want to block to open it. Then a screen like the one below will appear. Click the ‘Information’ item on the right side of the channel menu. Then click the flag-shaped icon at the bottom. From the menu that appears, click ‘Block User’.
You will then be asked if you really want to block the user. If you block a user, they will not be able to comment on any videos we upload, and their channel will be blocked so that their videos will not appear on our computer/mobile screens.
Next, we’ll look at how to unblock people you’ve blocked. Click the ‘your profile icon’ at the top right of the YouTube site. From the menu that appears, click ‘YouTube Studio’.
When the YouTube Studio window opens, click the ‘Settings’ button in the left menu.
Click ‘Community’ in the submenu of the setting screen. At the bottom, there is an item called ‘Hidden Users’. In that section, you will see a list of all users you have blocked so far. If you hover your mouse over the user you want to unblock, an ‘X’ icon and delete text will be displayed on the right side of the list. Tapping the icon will unblock you normally.
Next, we’ll look at how to block or unblock a specific channel on the mobile YouTube app. It is almost the same as the PC version, but the menu name or location you need to press is different.
Launch the YouTube app and access the YouTube channel you want to block. After that, click the ‘three vertical dots’ button in the upper right corner. Select ‘Block User’ from the pop-up menu that appears.
When a pop-up appears asking if you want to block the user, click the ‘Block’ button. When you block a user, that user will no longer be able to comment on the videos we upload.
Next, let’s see how to unblock a user on mobile. It is not possible in the YouTube app, launch a YouTube app such as Safari and search for ‘studio.youtube.com’ in the search bar. Access the YouTube studio site that appears.
When the site screen appears, click the gear-shaped Settings button in the lower left corner.
When the Settings screen appears, click the ‘Community’ submenu. Then, in the ‘Hidden Users’ section, hover your mouse over the list of people you wish to unblock and click the ‘X’.
