Today, I made mayonnaise kimchi fried rice following the recipe made by Lee Chan-won at Pyeonsto Restaurant.
Kimchi fried rice is one of the simple lunch menus that is often made.
It is usually made with ham or tuna, but Lee Chan-won’s kimchi fried rice is characterized by the addition of mayonnaise.
It is made by melting mayonnaise and using it instead of oil and boiling sugar and soy sauce once, so it is a delicious kimchi fried rice with a rich flavor.
It is good as a dish for a single person or as a simple lunch menu, so try making it once.
Now, let’s take a look at the mayonnaise kimchi fried rice recipe.

The instructions are for 1 serving, but the photos are for 2 servings, so please refer to them.

1. Finely chop 1/4 of a green onion and 1/4 of an onion.

2. Finely chop 100g of kimchi and prepare.

3. Add 3T of mayonnaise to a heated pan and melt it.
If you cook it on high heat, it will burn, so melt it slowly on medium heat.

4. When the sour smell of mayonnaise comes up, add the chopped green onion and stir-fry to release the green onion oil.
I put in too much mayonnaise, so it didn’t melt well. ㅠ.ㅠ
Don’t do it like me. When the mayonnaise melts to some extent and turns into oil, add the green onion.

5. When the smell of green onion comes up, add the prepared onion and kimchi, add 2T of kimchi juice, and stir-fry.

6. Add 1T of sugar evenly and melt it on one side of the pan, then mix it with the contents and stir-fry.

7. Add 1T of soy sauce and stir-fry lightly on one side of the pan, then mix it with the contents and stir-fry.

8. Add 1T of red pepper powder and stir-fry, and when the kimchi is cooked to some extent, add 1 pack of rice and stir-fry.
I used rice I had at home instead of rice.
Adjust the amount of red pepper powder according to your taste.

9. Transfer the kimchi fried rice to a bowl and top it with a fried egg and sesame seeds to complete.
If you transfer the fried rice to an air bowl and shape it, you can arrange it in a pretty mountain shape.

This is how delicious mayonnaise kimchi fried rice is completed. I couldn’t quite dissolve the mayonnaise, so it ended up being a sticky fried rice, but it was really delicious.
