5. When the departure pin is placed at your current location, the departure point below is automatically entered. If your location is incorrect, move the pin or reset the starting point.
6. Specify the destination by searching for the desired location, selecting the search results, and pressing the [Arrive] button.
7. Check the departure and arrival points on the map. Then, you decide on the type of call. For blue or smart calls, you will have to pay additional fees compared to regular calls. If everything is confirmed, press [Call].
8. Kakao Taxi payment method can be changed in Home Screen – My Information – Payment Method Management. If you register automatic payment, a notification window will appear to prevent duplicate payments.
9. The call goes to the driver who is nearby first, and when no driver responds to the call, the call goes to the drivers who are farther away in order. During peak times, calls may fail, but you can just keep trying.
10. If you successfully call a Kakao Taxi, the driver’s photo, name, vehicle model, and license plate number will be displayed. Simply check the vehicle model and license plate number and wait for the vehicle at the departure location.
