To vulnerable residents who have pets (dogs, cats) in Gwangjin-gu
We provide support for pet medical expenses, foster care, and care.
※ Vulnerable groups: recipients of basic livelihood security, the next lowest class, single-parent families

“Our Neighborhood Animal Hospital” supports medical expenses for pets of vulnerable groups 🐶
▪ Project period: March to December 10, 2024 (early closure when budget is exhausted)
▪ Support target: Vulnerable people in the area who raise registered pets (dogs or cats)
▪ Support details: Essential medical treatment (equivalent to KRW 300,000), elective medical treatment (within KRW 200,000)

Inquire in advance by phone, make a reservation, and then visit (be sure to bring supporting documents)
Supports up to 2 animals per household (once a year per animal)
Unregistered pets (pet dogs, cats) can be supported after registration through built-in system.


“Our Neighborhood Pet Consignment Center,” which supports pet fostering and protection for the underprivileged 🐱
▪ Project period: February 15 – December 2024 (until budget is exhausted)
▪ Support target: Vulnerable people in the area who raise registered dogs or cats (unregistered possible)
▪ Support details: Support for consignment and care within up to 10 days per animal (up to 50 days if special protection is required, such as long-term hospitalization), support for transport costs for pets (only for those with limited mobility, when using a consignment center)
※ You can apply for 10 days in multiple installments.
(Example) 3 days in April, 3 days in June, 4 days during Chuseok in September → 10 days in total
▪ How to apply: Inquire in advance at the pet consignment office by phone and visit with relevant documents.
– Required documents: A copy of the animal owner’s ID card, a copy of the animal registration card (dog), a document proving the vulnerable class (basic livelihood recipient/second-lowest class/single-parent family certificate or confirmation), a document proving the inability to move (a copy of the disability certificate or welfare card/single-person household) In this case, a copy of resident registration)
